Canada Work Permit Visa & Caregiver Program – Expert Help
Canada caregiver program
The Canada Caregiver Program offered by the Canadian government is designed to aid children, elderly people, or people with disabilities to have the necessary care. On one hand, it gives an option to Canadian Citizens/Permanent Residents to employ people under this program, and on the other hand, experienced caregivers and individuals who are eligible can not only have a job in Canada but also apply for permanent residency in the future. It is to be duly noted that any new applications for the Live-in Caregiver Program are not being accepted currently, but if you do already have a Canada work permit visa under this program and have a positive Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) under the specific NOC Code, then you can work under this program.
There are three options for caregivers to apply under this program:
- Live-in Caregiver
- Home Child Care Provider Pilot
- Home Support Worker Pilot
