This week, the Canada Revenue Agency will give millions of families in Canada the next Canada Child Benefit payment.
The confirmed payment date is Thursday, August 20, 2026, which is only a few days before back-to-school spending reaches its highest point of the year.
This is the second monthly CCB payment based on the increased rates for 2026–27, which went into effect on July 1 when the new benefit year started.
