Canada issues more invitations of overseas applicants

Prince Edward Island issued invitations to a total of 141 applicants by allowing them to apply for permanent residency. Out of the total numbers, 130 nominations went out to the Express Entry and Labour Impact category, and, 11 nominations were sent out to the Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs category. The minimum threshold of CRS points for the business invitations was 67 points. You can also see the details of the last draw here.

The program offered by Prince Edward Island welcomes immigrants of all backgrounds and gives them a chance to settle in the country. The main focus of this program is to aid the economy of the island and allow immigrants an opportunity to earn a better standard of living. Targeting skilled workers, international graduates, and businessmen the island wants people who can create a positive impact on their economy. The province of Manitoba issued 303 Invitations to Apply to candidates under various categories available under their provincial nominee program. With their second draw of the year held on 10th February, in this draw the applications were accepted under three streams namely, Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas, and International Education Stream. The Comprehensive System Ranking score for this draw was different for each category but the last category especially had no minimum CRS score cutoff. Not only this, many candidates were invited under Express Entry System by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada who had a complete profile submitted under the System and fulfilled the remaining requirements of the province.
