About Express Entry Pathway

This is a fast-tracked way for skilled workers to apply for permanent residency in Canada given that they are eligible as per the stated standards. The Express Entry system is a program that functions based on points allotted to the applicant according to six important elements, age, language proficiency, work experience, previous education, adaptability, and spouse/partner. The applicant has to submit an EOI (Expression of Interest) that is then assessed and reviewed by IRCC who gives scores in terms of the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), to the candidates. After the submission and assessment of the application, you enter the Express Entry Pool from which top candidates having the highest CRS Score are selected and invited to apply.

About Provincial Nominee Program

The Provincial Nominee Program allows candidates who have skills, knowledge, and experience to settle in their province so that they help the economy and finances along with their personal growth. It is for those who want to settle in a particular province and become permanent residents of Canada. The process to apply for PNP is rather simple. It is only a two-step process. The first being applying to a province of your choice or make an Express Entry profile and add your preferred provinces there. Now all you have to do is wait to get nominated. The second step is to receive the Nomination Certificate from the province that you’re selected in. You then need to make use of the certificate to apply to IRCC for a Canadian permanent residency visa.

About Canadian Experience Class

It is a program that aids the skilled workers having Canadian working experience of at least 1 year to apply for permanent residency and be a citizen. This is a very attractive choice for the people working there because, within 6-12 months, the applicant’s visa usually gets approved. So, you can also say that this route is the quickest if you already are a temporary resident of Canada and aspire to become a permanent one. One important thing to keep in mind before applying under CEC is that your job profile and experience must come under the National Occupational Classification (NOC).
