In an announcement, US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) said it will be using a new phone number for SMS messages. “USCIS will no longer deliver text (SMS) communications from the phone number 468-311 (GOV-311) as of July 1, 2025. In a press release, USCIS said that 872466 (USAIMM) will be our new number. The goal of this modification is to make it easier for users to identify legitimate immigration agency communications.
