The minimum pay for students applies to those under the age of 18 who work less than 28 hours per week during the school year or during summer breaks.
An adult student, including an overseas student who is 18 years or older, is not eligible for the reduced student rate just by virtue of being enrolled in school.
For students of all ages who are employed as homeworkers, as well as those who perform paid work from their homes, the homeworker rate is applicable.
