Significant modifications to the eligibility for settlement services for permanent residents of the economic class have recently been announced by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Regardless of when they arrived, all economic class permanent residents are subject to the policy change, which goes into force on April 1, 2026.
