Mexico Online appointment system is now available

For some immigration applications, Mexican immigration offices are reinstating online appointments through the online appointment system of the National Immigration Institute.

Important Points:

1. The National Immigration Institute first launched an online appointment system for routine immigration proceedings in 2021, as BAL previously reported. However, in March 2022, the system was briefly discontinued.

2. Foreign nationals can now utilize the system to make appointments for application processing as of September 17.

3. The system will be available for eighteen different categories of immigration applications and procedures, such as family visas, temporary residence renewals, and applications for permanent residency change of status.
