On August 19, 2026, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada conducted the most recent Express Entry draw for the French category, giving out 5,000 invitations to apply for permanent residency.
The Comprehensive Ranking System cutoff for the lowest-ranked applicant invited was 382 points, a decrease of 9 points from the 391 points on August 6 and the lowest French language cutoff since 2026.
The second August draw cluster, which started with the Provincial Nominee Program draw on August 17 and ended with the Canadian Experience Class draw on August 18, is now over with this draw.
