In a new Express Entry draw under the French language proficiency category, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued an additional 4,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) on April 29, 2026 (Version 2).
This draw confirms our prediction from yesterday that Francophone selection will continue to be dominant and announces the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cutoff at 400.
The 400 cutoff also shows that eligible individuals with strong French proficiency, both inside and outside of Canada, are still able to apply through category-based French selection.
