About $3. 6 million was invested to help four new initiatives supported by the Francophone Immigration Support Program (FISP), according to the Honorable Lena Metlege Diab, Minister of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship.

A number of these programs are intended to promote the immigration of bilingual and Francophone applicants in order to foster the development of minority Francophone communities.
