First Express Entry Draw Of August 2026 Issues 507 ITAs

In the initial Express Entry draw of August 2026, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada distributed 507 invitations to apply for permanent residency on August 4.

Opening the month with a Provincial Nominee Program round that continues the same cluster-opening pattern IRCC has utilized since March, this is the year’s 43rd Express Entry draw and the first Express Entry draw of August.

Candidates who had provincial nominations in their Express Entry profiles and needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score to get an invitation were the targets of the draw.
