ESDC raises wage requirements for high-wage stream of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program

Additional modifications to the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) have been made by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), including an increase in the minimum hourly rate standards for the TFWP’s high-wage stream.

In order to be eligible, candidates applying through the TFWP’s high-wage stream must make at least 20% more per hour than the median wage for their occupation in relation to their place of employment as of November 8.
