New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream

Eligibility Requirements

  • The applicant must intend to permanently reside in the province

  • The applicant must have a valid Offer of Employment

  • The applicant must be qualified for the job position of

    1. High Skilled Worker - NOC O, A, B

    2. Medium Skilled Worker - NOC C

    3. Low Skilled Worker - NOC D Skill type 7, 8 & 9; NOC 6711; NOC 6731

  • The applicant must be offered a compatible wage according to the province's wage standards

  • The applicant must have employer support at the time of application submission

  • If the applicant is interested in a regulated job, they must be certified or have an appropriate license

Selection Factors

  • Age: 19-55 years

  • Language Proficiency: CLB 4

  • Level of Education: At least Secondary Diploma/Degree (with relevant ECA)

  • Work Experience: Minimum 1 year

  • Adaptability

New Brunswick Express Entry

Eligibility Requirements

  • The applicant must have a relevant Express Entry profile

  • The applicant must possess a letter of employment

  • A valid work permit is necessary

  • The job profile must fall under the NOC Code O, A, or B

  • Minimum language proficiency should be CLB 7 

  • The applicant must have a relevant Educational Credential Assessment according to the Canadian standards

(If selected through the Express Entry PNP)

  • Wait to receive a Letter of Interest

  • After receiving the LOI, submit an Expression of Interest to the New Brunswick government
