On 26th November 2021, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada made an exciting announcement for offshore students who were worried about their eligibility to apply for a Post Graduate Work Permit.

The introduction of new pilot program will aid the province’s employers immensely to recruit international talent and fill in the positions that were vacant otherwise.

The Minister of Health, Minister of Public Safety, Minister of Transport and Minister of IRCC said that certain border measures will be undertaken to ensure the safety of Canadians during the pandemic. As speculated, the rules will now be implemented starting 30th November 2021.

Under the British Columbia PNP Tech Program, 89 candidates were issued Invitation to apply that they can use to apply for permanent residency. The minimum CRS Score requirement to be met was 78 points.

Recently IRCC released a memo stating the reasons for which invitation to candidates who submitted applications under Federal Skilled Worker Program and Canadian Experience Class had suddenly stopped. IRCC justified it by mentioning that their initial plan after implementing the hold was to tackle with backlog applications.

On 2nd December 2021 the Canadian province Manitoba issued invitations to a total of 438 candidates who were eligible for their provincial nominee program. The streams through which applications were accepted were Skilled Workers in Manitoba, International Education Stream and Skilled Worker Overseas.

Canadian employers successfully added 154,000 new jobs in November. Because of this the unemployment levels fell considerably. The November’s job growth could be seen in almost every province of the country.

Candidates were nominated to apply for Canadian permanent residency under the OINP Employer Job Offer Category. Candidates who had profile submitted under express entry system and Regional Immigration Pilot were invited.
