Update for Victoria State Nominations, Australia

Through their latest round of invitations held in October, Australia is regaining momentum with inviting skilled workers under their state and regional nomination programs.

In the month of October Victoria released details for their latest invitation round held under their subclass 190, Skilled Migration Program. A total of 170 invitations were issued against the submission of Registration of Interest. For this round 62% invites were handed out for non-health sectors. Below mentioned is the list of the Top Occupations in each sector and lowest points considered for invitation.

Victoria has now opened applications for interested candidates to submit a Registration of Interest (ROI). The below mentioned occupations will be considered for future invitation rounds and if your job falls under any of the following, you can submit a ROI.

  • Agri-Food
  • Advanced Manufacturing
  • New energy, emissions reduction, and circular economy

For Victoria’s Skilled Migration Program of 2021-22, the Department of Home Affairs has made following allocations for different subclasses.

  • 3500 nominations for Subclass 190
  • 500 nominations for Subclass 491
