South Australia Open for Offshore Immigrants : Apply Now!

South Australia is opening it’s online application portal on Tuesday 28 September, 2021 for offshore skilled workers who wish to migrate to Australia. As a measure taken for post-Covid recovery, Australia has provided 70 more occupations for skilled workers to apply to, given, they meet the minimum requirements stated by the Department of Home Affairs. 

There are two sub classes of visas under the Skilled Migration Program of Australia. The first being Subclass 190: Skilled Nominated Visa and the second being Subclass 491: Skilled Regional (Provisional) Visa.

SUBCLASS 190

This is a point based nomination program designed specifically for skilled workers who are eligible to apply and  intend to live in Australia indefinitely. The applicant needs to submit an Expression of Interest with the Department of Home Affairs. On the basis of EOI, the candidates get points following a state nomination. Those who receive successful nominations can migrate to Australia and live permanently.

SUBCLASS 491

This is a point based nomination program designed for workers who are eligible to apply and  intend to live in Australia. The applicant needs to submit an Expression of Interest with the Department of Home Affairs. On the basis of EOI, the candidates get points following a state nomination. Those who receive successful nominations can migrate to Australia and live for up to 5 years.
