The government assesses people for this category on the basis of Human Capital Factors. This category permits graduate students and skilled workers to apply for OINP. With relevant knowledge, skills, education and work experience it should not be very difficult for one to apply. The details of the draw are as follows:

Foreign Worker Stream

Min EOI Score Required: 37

No target occupations/specific locations

Eligibility Requirements:

• The applicant should have an eligible job offer
• One must have two years worth prior work experience in a skilled occupation
• The applicant must have an intention to stay in the province
• Make sure to make Expression of Interest profile, enter the EOI pool and get points on the base of your credentials

International Student Stream

No. of Invitations: 523

Min EOI Score Required: 61

Eligibility Requirements:

• The applicant should have an eligible job offer
• One must have completed a certified program from a Designated Learning Institute
• The applicant must have an intention to stay in the province
• Make sure to make Expression of Interest profile, enter the EOI pool and get points on the base of your credentials

Regional Immigration Pilot

66 candidates who submitted their applications under this stream were also selected. Out of these, 36 were selected for Foreign Worker Stream and 30 for International Student Stream.

How to Apply for OINP?

The process to apply for Ontario Provincial Nominee Program is rather simple. You just need to check if you fall under the Qualification parameter, create profile on their website Expression of Interest System, receive ITA, apply to get nominated by Ontario and finally apply to IRCC for permanent residency.
