On Monday, August 10, 2026, additional payments under the Ontario Trillium Benefit are slated to be deposited, continuing the 2026–27 benefit year that started with the July 10 deposit.
Although this is a simple continuation of the monthly amount that the majority of recipients received in July, Ontario residents who submitted their 2025 tax forms after the April 30 deadline may still be waiting for the CRA to assess their return and send their initial payment.
Usually, residents whose 2025 returns were evaluated after June 19 will get their first OTB payment, along with any previous month’s entitlement, between four and eight weeks after the assessment is finished, according to CRA rules.
