Thousands of Canadians whose CRA My Account or My Service Canada Account was compromised during the 2020 credential stuffing attacks are now weeks away from being able to apply for compensation under a court-approved $8. 7 million class action settlement.
The Federal Court approved the settlement on May 5, 2026. The claims portal, administered by KPMG, is expected to become available this summer once the 60-day appeal period ends without a challenge.
