LATEST PNP DRAW FOR EXPRESS ENTRY, CANADA

Published Date: 29th September 2021

Canada has issued invitations to 761 candidates under the provincial nomination program of their Express Entry System. The minimum CRS Score requirement for this draw was 742.

The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held its latest Provincial Nomination Program draw on 29th September 2021. The Canadian government issued 761 Invitations to apply which not only awarded the candidates 600 extra points but now they are also granted 60 days to start the processing on their end. Out of all the programs under the Canada Express Entry System, PNP Draws have been the most consistent this year.

The great news for new applicants is that the Express Entry Invitations for this year have almost doubled down in comparison to the year of 2020 and Canada plans to invite 109,696 candidates by the end of this year. If you opt for PNP route under the Express Entry System then you can avail a huge advantage of having 600 additional points if you are successfully invited by a province. The maximum points that one can score are 1200.

WHAT IS EXPRESS ENTRY?

The Express Entry system is a program that functions on the basis of points allotted to the applicant according to six important elements. The applicant has to submit an EOI (Expression of Interest) that is then assessed and reviewed by IRCC who gives scores in terms of Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), to the candidates. After the submission and assessment of application you enter the Express Entry Pool from where top candidates having the highest CRS Score are selected.

The major programs under the Canadian Express Entry System are Federal Skilled Workers Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, Canadian Experience Class and Provincial Nomination Program.

If the application is approved under any one of the given Express Entry programs, IRCC issues a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR). Approved permanent residents can then complete the landing process.
