IRCC announces transitional measures for some students changing DLIs next year

New information on international students moving schools during the winter or spring of 2025 has been made public by Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

If they meet specific requirements, international students who are switching schools in Canada for the winter or spring semesters of 2025 will now be permitted to start their studies at their new institution before obtaining a new study permit.
