On May 11, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held the first Express Entry lottery of May 2026, focusing on applicants who had previously received a provincial nomination.
The circular included 380 applications for permanent residency under the Provincial Nominee Program category.
The lowest-ranked applicant invited had a Comprehensive Ranking System score of 798, which is three points above the 795 needed for the April 27 PNP draw.
