February 2025: State of the Express Entry pool

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has already conducted two draws in February following a January in which Express Entry draws resumed a moderate level of regularity.

5,821 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were sent out in January to candidates, including those enrolled in upgraded Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). Additionally, the immigration agency did not hold an Express Entry lottery for candidates who speak French for the first time since June 2024 last month.
