The Immigration Minister, Marc Miller, stated on September 18th, new policies that will result in fewer study permits and spouse work permits for 2025 and beyond.
These modifications come after a prior cap that was declared in January 2024 with the intention of limiting the number of foreign students and their families entering the country.
